So About Me, Sarah Reynolds, Admin / Author, here goes.
I have always wanted to start a blog, it’s been on my mind for years. I've always thought of my written word as pretty good, but to call me an author, not so sure. We will see! There were and still are so many questions. Like how do serious bloggers do it and make a living doing it? How can I do that? My main priority isn’t the money, although I would like to make enough to cover the costs of my blog, wink wink. It’s about feeling like I’m contributing to the world and not just sitting around on my hands.
Firstly I am a caregiver to my husband who is a disabled veteran, a Marine to be exact. I am also a mom to a brood of furry babies. Six to be exact. They are the three dogs Harriet, Sissy, and Max. Then there are the three cats Frankie, Millie, and Miley. There is a lot to do through the day with house chores, animal care, and helping my husband whenever needed. But there are chunks of time during the day when I'm just hanging out. Just endlessly researching something that I think of online. Sometimes ending up in a tornado of YouTube videos until I'm needed again.
But I need more.
There are days I do feel like I’m sitting on my hands. I need to do something with this pent up feeling I have. But it’s scary putting yourself out there for the world to see. What if I fail? But what if I succeed? So I turned to a few friends and family to see if maybe they wanted to join me on this journey. As luck would have it a few of them said yes.
So here we are. I am the proud owner of a website. Panic attack ensues. I am not only the owner of this fine website but I'm also an author. What is our website about? Who might want to read it? Are my ideas worth an audience? I sure hope so. So far the site idea is kind of eclectic. We don’t have a fluid niche and I’m fine with that. Who says you have to stay in a little box and conform to the blogging world. Whatever!
So what are we offering to you the reader?
Good question. The Home portion of our site centers around just that. Tips and ideas to make your home, home. You might see anything pop up in this section, as with any section. The Heart portion is centered around our hearts. Stories and Journeys that have touched us positively or even negatively. The Happiness portion is about what makes us smile and feel joy. Like food, what is more happier than food? C’mon. Maybe products that made our lives easier. Funny things that have happened to us. As we go along we might develop more categories within these three values. So I hope you stick around on our journey.
Also, don’t forget to sign up for our Monthly Newsletter here. We would love to keep you updated with our antics. I hope to see and hear from you all real soon.
